What you need:
  • Fresh or dried herbs
  • Boiling water
  • Teapot
  • Tea cozy or towel
  • Lemon and honey
To make a perfect pot of herb tea, start by filling a teapot with boiling water to warm it.

Drain the pot and add 1 tablespoon of dried herbs or 2 tablespoons of fresh herbs for each 8-ounce serving.

Add boiling water to the herbs in the pot and replace the lid.

Cover the teapot with a tea cozy or a towel to keep it hot and to keep the flavorful essential oils from escaping with the steam. Let steep at least 5 minutes.

Pour tea through a strainer into tea cups and serve with honey or lemon.
