What you need:
When bromeliad leaves become damaged or dried out, they should be removed. It is sometime difficult to remove them because they are so fibrous. |

The simplest way to remove a bromeliad leaf is to cut it lengthwise down the center to its base. |

Pull the two halves of the leaves apart until they separate. |

If only the tips of the leaves are damaged they can be trimmed with sharp scissors. Try to make your cuts match the natural shape of the leaf. |
