Bromeliads are a large and colorful group of tropical, epiphytic plants. Their foliage can be spectacular or dramatic. They grow best in bright diffuse light such as fluorescent or that in an east-facing window. Since most bromeliads are from the tropics, they enjoy warm temperatures: high 60's at night and at least in the 70's during the day. |

ost bromeliads form a "vase" with their leaves, which fills with water to provide moisture. In the wild this serves as a home to colorful frogs and other creatures. Keep the vase filled with water to assure adequate moisture for your bromeliads. |
