Most grow best when mounted on cork or bark. Hang these mounted plants in a sunny window. They grow particularly well in humid areas of the house such as bright bathrooms or by the kitchen sink.

Tillandsias can be watered by misting every day or so or by dunking the entire plant in warm water.

Fertilize Tillandsias with a dilute solution of any houseplant water soluble fertilizer about once a month during the late spring through early fall. During the winter, reduce fertilizer applications to about once every 6 to 8 weeks.
